Mr. Benjamin Njuguna Nyenjeri is a student at the University of Embu, School of Agriculture enrolled in a programme leading to the award of Masters of Science Plant Breeding and Biotechnology. His Research Proposal is on Establishing a Superior Parental Crossing Block through Diallel Hybridization. The site location for his Masters project is KARLO-Mwea under the supervision of Professor Paul Njiru Nthakanio (University of Embu) and Dr. Ruth Musila (KARLO-MWEA Center Director).
Achieved Milestones
1. Developed 45 F1 Hybrid seeds through combining parental 10 varieties in a half-diallel hybridization design;
